I was recommended by my GP to start doing Pilates due to persistent lower back pain. After 6 weeks of classes the back pain was less and after a few months of weekly classes and 10 minutes daily practice my lower back pain had gone. Two years later I’m still doing weekly classes with Lorraine and find the benefits of a stronger core helpful in many aspects of daily life
Having practiced pilates for over 9 years with Lorraine, I can honestly say she is by far and away the best teacher I have had the pleasure of meeting. Not only is her knowledge of Pilates and the human anatomy incredible but she is also extremely intuitive and is constantly expanding the range of movements to help us achieve more in class and understand our bodies a little better.
